International Hockey League
History
With the collapse of the NHL in 2010 Bill Gates created the International Hockey League. The inaugural season is 2011-2012. After 1 season that was highly succesful the league became a 3 tier system with promotion and relegation of 4 teams. The league has been donated numerous awards by varying international sponsors. The awards will be presented following the IHL Tsar Nicholas II Cup Final each year awarded to the winner of the top tier Premier League. The President's Cup will go to the winner of the High league, and Prime Minister's Cup to the winner of the Tertiary League.
